Xiaomi announces 11T Pro with 120W fast charging

Xiaomi has expanded its premium smartphone range in Europe with the launch of three new smartphones: Xiaomi 11T Pro, Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE.

The new Xiaomi 11T series succeeds last year's Mi 10T lineup, while the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE is a slight update to the Mi 11 Lite 5G released earlier this year.

The Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro are the flagships here, featuring 120Hz refresh rate displays, powerful processors, and capable cameras. It is also the first Xiaomi phone to be launched globally without the “Mi” branding.

And the Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro match each other in many respects. Both have similar designs, similar screens and precise camera hardware.

However, they differ in processor area and charging speed. The Xiaomi 11T Pro features a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with a 480Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+ support, Dolby Vision, and a brightness of 1,000 nits. It also has a True Display feature that automatically adjusts the screen's color temperature according to ambient conditions - like Apple's TrueTone feature.

Inside, the Xiaomi 11T Pro has Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 888, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

At the back, you find a 108MP primary lens flanked by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 5MP macro lens. A 16-megapixel lens on the front handles video calls and selfies.

Xiaomi announces 11T Pro with 120W fast charging

The phone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery that is charged via a 120W ultra-fast wired charger. The company claims that it only takes 17 minutes to fully charge the Xiaomi 11T Pro from 0 percent.

Elsewhere, you get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual speakers tuned by Harman Kardon, Bluetooth 5.2, an infrared blaster, and an X-axis linear vibration motor.

Speaking of the regular Xiaomi 11T, it has the same screen as the Pro model except for Dolby Vision support. It is powered by Mediatek's Dimensity 1200, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. And the 5000 mAh battery is the same as that of Xiaomi 11T Pro. But fast charging is up to 67W.

And Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE (New Version) is an upgraded version of Mi 11 Lite 5G. As a result, the new model replaces the Snapdragon 780G in favor of the newly announced Snapdragon 778G from Qualcomm, and that is the only real change.

Otherwise, the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE is identical to the Mi 11 Lite 5G, which features the same 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 64MP primary lens, and a 4,250mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, and Dual speakers.
