The Minister of Local Development directs the governorates to raise the degree of preparedness to deal with the wave of bad weather

Share the newsIn the framework of the Ministry of Local Development’s follow-up to the Meteorological Authority’s reports that a number of governorates were exposed to a wave of bad weather, heavy rain, strong winds and bad weather during the next two days, Major General Mahmoud Shaarawy, Minister of Local Development, directed the Ministry’s Operations and Crisis Management room to follow up on developments in the situation in all governorates and coordinate with the operating rooms In the governorates around the clock to quickly deal with any emergency events in cooperation with the Central Operations Room in the Council of Ministers.
Major General Mahmoud Sharawy also directed the governors to continue to raise the degree of preparedness to face the wave of bad weather and rain, and to deal immediately with any water gatherings in the sub-streets and main squares, and continuous coordination with the drinking water and sanitation companies. It is used with its presence and concentration in places that may be exposed to rain, according to the plans that have been developed to avoid any accumulation of water and the speed of water withdrawal in order to ensure the safety of citizens and not to disrupt traffic.
