The Minister of Justice signs a memorandum of understanding with the Red Cross to cooperate in the field of international law in Geneva

Today, Counselor Omar Marwan, Minister of Justice and Chairman of the National Committee for International Humanitarian Law, went to Geneva to sign a memorandum of understanding with the International Committee of the Red Cross on areas of spreading and promoting the culture of international humanitarian law.

The memo aims to organize events, conferences and discussion episodes for workers in the targeted sectors and bodies concerned with international humanitarian law in Egypt, and to prepare studies and research related to the appropriateness of national laws of international agreements certified by the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The visit is scheduled to witness the attendance of the Minister of Justice, some of the activities organized by the permanent mission of the Arab Republic of Egypt at the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva, to shed light on the human rights situation in Egypt and the development it witnesses during the present time.
