What do you know about the blue March?
Similar to the “Pink October” campaign as a global breast cancer awareness month, the World Health Organization (WHO) has launched the “Blue March” campaign since February 2000 regarding the screening and awareness campaign for colon cancer.
Colon cancer is a type of cancer that affects the colon. The colon is the last part of the large intestine of the digestive system.
It is a cancer that occurs in the last 15 centimeters of the colon, which meets part of the rectal area, and these two types of cancer together are called colorectal cancer or colorectal cancer.
In most cases, colon cancer begins as a small lump of non-cancerous cells called polyposis. After a period of time, the polyps that formed turn into precancerous lumps in the colon.
These polyps may be small and have very few symptoms, if any, and regular imaging scans can prevent colon cancer from developing and developing by early detection of polyps before they turn into cancerous tumors.
