Vivo Pad and NEX Tablets with stylus support for launch in China
New information indicates that the Vivo Pad and NEX Tablet are set to be launched soon in China before they are officially launched globally. The demand for Android tablets has skyrocketed amid the coronavirus pandemic as people have had no choice but to work and learn from home. As expected, countless brands are taking advantage of the increased demand by launching new tablets. So, it's no surprise that Vivo is working on the Vivo Pad and NEX tablet.
Apart from Vivo, popular brands like OnePlus and Oppo are also preparing to launch new tablets this year to take advantage of the growing demand for the large screen Android device. If the rumors swirling around the internet prove to be true, then the first Vivo tablet dubbed Vivo Pad will be launched in the first half of 2022. While Vivo remains silent on the tablet launch date, the specifications of the Vivo Pad tablet have surfaced online at earlier this month. Now, tipster Mukul Sharma has revealed more basic details about the Vivo Pad and Nex tablets with MySmartPrice.
Vivo Pad & NEX Tablets are coming to China soon
According to Mukul, the Vivo Pad and Nex Tablets will be launched for the first time in China. Moreover, it is suggested that the devices come with stylus (stylus) support. Furthermore, Mukul claims that the Chinese tech company plans to release the tablets as part of two series. One of the tablets will be launched under the Vivo titled Vivo Pad. Likewise, the company will unveil another tablet as part of its NEX brand. As a reminder, NEX-branded smartphones adopt futuristic designs and feature amazing features.
It will be interesting to see if Vivo adopts the same strategy for the NEX tablet set as well. Moreover, Mukul suggests that Vivo first introduce the tablets to the Chinese market..and eventually release them to other consumers around the world. Apart from that, the Vivo Pad and NEX tablets will support the stylus. On top of that, it likely looks and works like Samsung's S Pen and Apple Pencil. However, it is still unclear if the Vivo Pad, in addition to the NEX tablet, will support the stylus / stylus.

As a reminder, Vivo has introduced a rebranding of the Vivo Pen or Vivo Pencil, which will likely come with the company's upcoming tablets. Under the hood, the Vivo Pad is likely to pack a Snapdragon 870 SoC. Up front, it could have an 11-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, a powerful 8040mAh battery with 44W fast charging is likely to power the entire system. As for optics, the tablet can have a main camera of 13 MP and a secondary camera of 8 MP. Also, it will likely have an 8MP front camera.
Not so long ago, a Vivo tablet with model number PA2170 and a 44W charger got 3C certification. The same device could debut as the Vivo Pad in China, according to a transfer by GizmoChina. Furthermore, the tablet is likely to retail for around 1,599 Yuan (~$252).
