The joy of liberation in the eyes of the men of Sharia and charitable work

Laila Al-Shafi’i is an unforgettable day, not in the memory of the citizens and residents of Kuwait, nor in the Arab and Islamic worlds.. The day of the liberation of Kuwait, the day the whole world stood on its feet, ready and rejoicing, with the demise of the brutal Iraqi occupation on the land of Kuwait, confiscating the freedoms of its people, ruining its structure and spreading destruction and misfortune. February 26 1991.. the hour of truth has struck, Kuwaitis and all the honorable people of the world sighed, and a sigh of relief prevailed over the region for months, during which human and in-kind resources were scattered, during which armies, soldiers and forces gathered so that they could expel the aggressor from this good land. February 26, 1991.. It became a great memory in The souls of Kuwaitis never cease to be ingrained in their hearts and they circulate among them. Each of them tells of how moments passed for him today, how he received the news of liberation more than a month after the start of the air war.

A group of religious and charitable men witnessed this great event and lived it each according to its location and circumstances.. They recorded these moments with words overflowing with feelings of contentment and acceptance after months in which Kuwait was almost lost from them. ..and the withdrawal of the occupation tanks and vehicles, the fleeing mole. Remember how life began to break out in the Kuwaiti regions again under the roof of freedom and the restoration of dignity and land, and how lessons and lessons can be taken from this great day. And they got their lives back in order. The joy of liberation, what did the clergy and charitable work say about it, so to the details:

Dr. Khaled Al-Mazkour: At dawn on Tuesday, February 26, 1991, is the day of liberation, that night before dawn we were in our homes and the sounds of planes and cannons resounding, and they said that there is a so-called burnt city or scorched earth as they used to call it, that is, burning everything that can The Iraqi army from burning it, a term they used because it will take revenge on everyone, and it was on the last Friday of the occupation that the Iraqi occupier tightened and took a large group of Kuwaiti prisoners until I emptied the water tank and put my sons Walid and Yasser, my two sons, Dr. Ajil Al-Nashmi, who is my neighbour, and I said They do not pray Jumu’ah and then they pray at home, and we also prayed at home, and it was the last Friday of the occupation before liberation, but at dawn someone came to the house with joy and says I went and found nothing, then we heard the sounds of tanks and cars, we said that they would crawl on us In our homes, and if they were fleeing defeated outside Kuwait and the planes were chasing them on the Kuwaiti border, confused at that time, and with the dawning of the dawn we prostrated thanks to God Almighty while we were in our homes, and we also prostrated thanks to God after the noon prayer, and we opened the houses with our knowledge of the remains of them and the mines that were The Iraqis had left them in the trenches, so we organized the guard, and the oil fires covered the sky as if we were at night, and the voices of the people were joyful raising the flags of Kuwait, and we were careful not to go out and to avoid exposure to the remains of the Iraqis who were present, then things were organized and the associations and some shops were opened, and it was In the kindergarten near my house, there was a store of supplies and food. An American team came to supervise the distribution, in addition to the Kuwaitis who helped them, and that was all on Tuesday. May God Almighty give us comfort and victory over them, and the Kuwaiti’s joy on this day (liberation day) became unmatched by any joy And we ask God Almighty to take lessons and lessons from this day, and we were busy two days after liberation on Tuesday and Wednesday, and we were waiting for Friday sermons that called for the release of prisoners and prisoners in Iraq and demanded them, and delegations from the neighboring Gulf countries came to help the people of Kuwait, and brought supplies And the goods with the Kuwaiti forces that entered, and this week (liberation week) was from Tuesday to about 10 days, and we were preparing for this huge number of weapons and equipment that the Iraqis left for fear that Our position was a brave stance during the week of liberation, especially from Tuesday, and we fasted Ramadan, and the electricity was turned off, but the fires of the hearts of the mothers and fathers of the prisoners were kindled so that these prisoners returned to their countries safely and victorious, and after that, praise be to God Almighty, His Highness the Crown Prince returned The Prime Minister, Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah, may God have mercy on him, came to the country. Then His Highness the Emir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad, may God have mercy on him, came. The hearts were filled with joy, and Kuwait was reassured by the new building that had been destroyed by these oppressive occupiers. Praise be to God for the blessing of liberation.

Dr. Ajil Al-Nashmi: There is no doubt that the news of the official announcement of the liberation of Kuwait, which was on Tuesday February 26, 1991, was the end of the real tragedy of the occupation or the brutal invasion that began on Thursday, August 2, 1990 and lasted for more than 6 months, which is the duration of the Desert Storm war. From January 17 to February 28 - 1991 and the most intense days that passed before the declaration of liberation were the days of the international campaign to liberate Kuwait led by America, which, thanks to God, did not last long, only from February 24 to 28, 1991, but it was a violent war with the sounds of cannons and the buzzing of planes and it was very strong Nevertheless, the people were happy and rejoiced at the humiliating defeat of the Iraqi army.

We received the news of liberation, and it was a great and indescribable joy, although the effects of aggression, fires and black smoke are still hanging over the country. But the joy was greater, and the gathering of people for the noon prayer was an unforgettable day.

We met in the mosque, and mosques - in fact - throughout the occupation were a place for people to gather and unite, and it was a solemn meeting, in which feelings mingled and we could not control ourselves, shaking hands and embracing, and crying of joy heard throughout the mosque, and the words of congratulations, praise and thanks to God, and our solidarity committee called in Musharraf, which includes representatives of the six plots of the region, and was in the permanent presence and vigorous follow-up and guidance of the late Uncle Suleiman Al-Mukhaizeem, a man of Kuwait known for his generosity, and well-known for his virtues and official positions, and his last assignment was a chosen one for the Mishref region, and the meeting of the committee was important because the delivery of supplies to the people had stopped During the military campaign, which lasted 5 days, work had to be resumed, so the trucks went back to Sabhan to bring food, and the cleaning cars started their work and their work was very important, then the doors of goodness opened from everywhere with the arrival of the government and the people of Kuwait from abroad.

We also do not forget the great historic day on Thursday, March 14, 1991, when His Highness Sheikh Jaber, may God have mercy on him, arrived, and those who handed his plane over Kuwait land and waved peace and salutations to his future, and at their head was His Highness Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah, may God have mercy on him, and this was a big day. The whole world watched him, especially when His Highness got off the plane and kissed the homeland, it was a moving scene.

Citizens and residents lined up on both sides of the road, carrying flags and saluting His Highness, may God have mercy on him. One of the things that we remember from the days of joy and happiness for us is the return of the diwaniyas, which have not met for nearly 6 months except very little since the brutal invasion began.

The joy of the return of our people from abroad was complete, and we do not forget their role as citizens under the auspices of the government abroad, as they had a fundamental and very important role in supporting and stabilizing those who were inside, for everyone was a bond and one body. Praise be to God, it was a day of joy and a day of happiness, a day of thanksgiving to God, the Blessed and Exalted.

فرحة التحرير في عيون رجال الشرع والعمل الخيري

Dr. Nabil Al-Aoun: In the ordeal of the brutal invasion of our beloved Kuwait, we succeeded in forming cells of the valiant Kuwaiti resistance from the third day of the invasion, and the first meeting was held in the Yarmouk area in the Diwan of Muhammad Al-Fajji, and the meeting was attended by many officers and sheikhs, among whom I mention Sheikh Azbi Al-Fahd And Lieutenant-General Mahmoud Al-Dosari, and many of my fellow officers, and we succeeded in dislodging the remnants of many of the Iraqi army elements and agents who were cooperating with the Iraqi regime at the time. The areas, and many of the steadfast people of Kuwait and others were supported with the available capabilities at our hands through the information that comes to us from abroad through a special communication device, where we were informed of the imminence of Operation Desert Storm, and we began preparations to protect the people in the event that the Iraqi army penetrated between the areas and homes, And, praise be to God, we were able to develop a tight plan to control the areas, especially the governorate of the capital, Hawalli and Farwaniya, because of the ability to control them, as well as the presence of human elements for the resistance and light and medium weapons. We have news of the start of the operation to liberate Kuwait through radio and television. We began to spread among the regions and were able to prevent the remnants of the fugitive Iraqi soldiers from penetrating, and we succeeded in arresting two battalions, and they were disarmed and placed in the Yarmouk School under heavy security, in addition to protecting the interior areas until the Kuwaiti forces arrived inside In the capital, all the prisoners were handed over, and immediately I joined the artillery brigade as an artillery officer. Thank God, our Kuwait was liberated, and I was honored to be one of the leaders of the Kuwaiti resistance with many heroes such as Sheikh Athbi Al-Fahd, Muhammad Al-Fajji, Lieutenant-General Mahmoud Al-Dosari, Colonel Abdullah Al-Aoun, and Mr. Abdullah Al-Shayji, Colonel Muhammad Al-Obaidli, Dr. Nabil Al-Failakawi and his brother Buttal Al-Failakawi, and a large group of the valiant Kuwaiti resistance.

Dr. Muhammad Al-Sharhan: On the day of liberation, I was in Abu Ghraib prison with my fellow prisoners, including Uncle Izzat Jaafar, his son Muhammad, the brothers Muhammad Al-Fajji, Mahmoud Al-Dosari, Nima Al-Kandari and others. We learned about liberation when we heard the news on a radio station in a cell. It appears that there was an Iraqi officer in this cell. Of course, we were all happy and pleased with the news of liberation and we thanked God for his grace and mercy. God Almighty and we prostrated to God thankful.

Dr. Farhan Obaid Al-Shammari: On the day of liberation, February 26, we had prayed Fajr, praise be to God. Then we returned to the homes and sat listening to the news. Then we were surprised by a huge amount of gunfire and people’s voices roaring in the streets, so we went out to investigate the matter, and I saw one of the Kuwaiti brothers. The Iraqis are from Kuwait and we wanted to make sure, so we went to a school next to our house and there were many guards in it. Some food, then we went home to tell the father, and he was sleeping at the time, and I woke him and his skin with the news, and we went out, thank God, in our car, in the streets, happy, and we found all the schools in which the Iraqi soldiers were completely empty of them, except for some individuals who were captured by the citizens, and they were unarmed and surrendered, and most of them were Kurds And they were peaceful.

I saw a man praying outside the house with his carpet, so I asked him: Why don't you go in and pray inside? He told me: Praying in the usurped house is not valid while I pray outside the house. I told him: You usurped the entire country. Your prayers are not valid according to the Hanbali school of thought. He was an old gray man from the Kurdish People’s Army.

This was a joke I met, and, praise be to God, we went out to the streets raising Kuwaiti flags, and I saw great rallies in Jahra, Al-Ayoun and others, and we thank God at every moment.

In the noon prayer, we gathered to congratulate each other in the mosque and hug each other, and we praise and thank God for the blessing of liberating Kuwait, this great great blessing from God Almighty.

Ali Al-Husseinan: During the invasion, I was 18 years old and I graduated from high school, and it is funny that I was accepted into Kuwait University and the names of those admitted to the university were published in the newspapers on Wednesday 1/8/1990 and the invasion took place on the second day 2/8/1990. Al-Tahrir On the morning of Tuesday 26/2/1991, we were at home because the last time we left the house was to perform the Friday prayer, and then we did not go out because we knew that young men were being arrested in the streets. And if he was with our friend in Al-Fayhaa, Adel Al-Mafraj, he came to herald us with the departure of the Iraqis from Kuwait.

So I entered the house and gave good news to my family and prostrated thanks to God. Then we went out and met the neighbors in Al-Farij and in the street and we exchanged congratulations and it was an indescribable joy. We headed to the second ring road between Al-Fayhaa and Al-Dahiya to see marches of cars waving happy Kuwaiti flags. Burning the wells, and in the evening, our neighbor Nasser Al-Huwaidi, who was an officer in the Ministry of Interior, asked us and the resistance not to go out now until the morning until security was well established, because it was dark because the electricity was cut off in Kuwait, and then we returned to work in the Fayhaa Association because during the days of the invasion I was a volunteer in the association in the morning, Al-Asr worked in the gas branch to Morocco, and we continued to work until the borders were opened, and I traveled for Umrah in the last ten days of Ramadan.

Dr. Bassam Al-Shatti: The day of liberation is a day of mercy, joy and overwhelming happiness. We were blessed and good. How all the forces of the world gathered against the criminal occupier and used all weapons with him and defeated him, so he turned back on his heels disappointed and lost. I was in Egypt to complete my studies and I had articles daily in “al-anba” and I was in Saudi Arabia also, I presented myself as a soldier at any time and I was in contact with the citizens between the sermon and the provision of a decent life and doing what they needed To him and before that, I was in Kuwait, we were patient with people, as well as in the Imamate, oratory, cooperative societies, firefighting, and formerly Raqqa cemetery, and today its name is Sabhan. The frankness of me and my brothers by the occupier’s soldiers in the Raqqa police station, so my father ordered me to leave, so we went out and headed to Medina until liberation.

Dr. Khaled Al-Shatti: We, the sons of Kuwait during the days of the invasion, had no doubts that Kuwait would return to its freedom, sovereignty, rulers and people. The hope in God was great that he would harness the countries of the world to help us liberate our country from an occupying, brutal enemy who denied his Arabism, his faith, and his neighbors who supported him And they supported him, as Kuwait has supported and stood over the years with many countries of the world that need support and assistance, and contributed to reform between countries, opponents and those who are different, and provided its humanitarian, relief and development assistance to the needy and the afflicted, and Kuwait had and still has a great balance in its diplomatic and humanitarian relations worldwide. And the well-known trades that spread throughout the world had a great positive role in standing with her during her ordeal, and those great attitudes and actions undertaken by Kuwait had a role in protecting it from danger, evil and occupation. The countries of the world allied themselves through the United Nations with a global agreement to liberate Kuwait from the brutal invasion through the coalition forces in which 32 countries participated in order to liberate Kuwait with what was called As In the desert. I was certain from the first day of the invasion that the liberation of Kuwait would be near, and that the Iraqi regime would be defeated and expelled. The Iraqi aggressor, and on February 25, at twelve o'clock at night, we were staying up to the sound of the world's radio stations, and they were talking about the imminent liberation of Kuwait, and military air missions filled the air.

That night, I was living in the Andalusian region, where I lived in the house of Adili, who had a basement in his house, and we were going up on the roof of the house at night to watch the movements. In Kuwait, we used to see from the roof the Fourth Ring Road on one side and the Fifth Ring Road on the other hand, and the movement of the Iraqi army was proceeding in complete panic. Kuwait in the streets of Andalusia, thank God for the liberation, so we got out of the house and saw people in their cars hoisting the flags of Kuwait cheering, glorifying, and glorifying, and the liberation took place on February 26, 1991, praise and gratitude be to God. It was a remarkable and great day.
