The Arab portal for technical news quoted Oh Hyun Kun, Vice President of Samsung, that his company will focus during the coming period, specifically during the next year, on developing and revealing more smart devices based on flexible and curved screens, in addition to developing working devices Foldable screens to be unveiled in 2015.

The company had previously reviewed, during the CES 2013 conference last January, a presentation of the possibilities of using foldable screens in making non-traditional smart devices.

Samsung presented, through the presentation, a model of a smart device with a foldable screen, which makes it usable as a smartphone or a tablet computer, in addition to a model of a tablet computer approximately the size of a pen, equipped with a screen that can be folded around itself and unfolded with the press of a button.

It is noteworthy that the announcement of the date of the disclosure of its devices with foldable screens comes after the removal of the South Korean company from its first phones equipped with a flexible screen, which is the “Galaxy Round” phone.
