Lenovo Legion Y700 gaming tablet leaks in all its glory
Lenovo made a big entry into the gaming smartphone segment in 2020. Now, the company is preparing to introduce its first gaming tablet dubbed Lenovo Legion Y700. Before the actual launch, the company decided to lift the ban on the product. As a result, we now have the full list of device specifications along with a set of images that show it from all angles. In addition to the specs, tipster Feiwei shared on Weibo images that show the Lenovo Legion Y700 in all its glory.
Lenovo Legion Y700 specifications
Starting with the specifications, the Lenovo Legion Y700 packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. This 7nm based processor can still handle games without any hassles and is backed by 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device is powered by ZUI 13 which is based on Android 11. The Lenovo Legion Y700 also features an 8.8-inch diagonal display with Quad HD+ resolution and support for 120Hz refresh rate. The device comes with Dolby Vision and HDR 10 support.
In terms of battery life, Lenovo Legion Y700 will provide a decent amount of hours. It comes with a 6550mAh battery that can play popular games for about 6 hours. Fortunately, its charging will also be fast thanks to the 45W supercharging technology. The device comes with a USB 3.1 Gen2 port. Moreover, Lenovo also focuses on experience and has equipped the device with an X-axis linear touch actuator.
Design
In terms of design, the Legion Y700 brings symmetrical bezels on the top and bottom parts. The side bezels are slimmer but not as thin as current smartphones. We can understand that since the focus is on gaming, Lenovo does not want to make a design where you can accidentally press on a part of the screen. The selfie snapper is docked to the top of the screen when you hold the device vertically. Moving to the back, we have a dual camera setup on the top left and the Lenovo Legion logo at the bottom. The images also confirm the 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, and Dolby Atmos Audio support.
The leaked images also reveal the Lenovo Legion Y700 charger which has 1 x USB C port and 1 x USB A port.
Lenovo Legion Y700 Gaming will be officially launched on February 28th during the Spring 2022 Saver Ecology new product launch event. During this particular event, new gaming smartphones, gaming tablets and gaming laptops will also be presented. It is clear that the event is clearly focused on the Indian market. At the moment, there is no information on whether this tablet will make its way to international markets.
According to official reports, the Lenovo Legion Y700 gaming tablet will appear on the market along with the Legion Y90 Gaming smartphone. Furthermore, the company will introduce the new Legion Y7000P and Y9000P gaming laptops. These laptops will be equipped with 12th generation Intel processors and RTX 3070 Ti graphics cards.
