If one of them stops working, how do you discover the reason for the malfunction of the AirPods?
Wireless headphones, known as "AirPods", make it easier for their users to do many things, the most important of which is the ease of answering calls without the need to talk on the phone directly, and although they are wireless and avoid the problems of wired headphones, there are some disadvantages they encountered.
And press reports revealed that there are some problems, the most prominent of which is the failure of one headphone without the other, which was what happened with normal wired headphones and the reason was usually the interruption of the internal wires, but how to avoid the problem of one headphone malfunctioning in the AirPods? The first thing you need to make sure is to check whether the AirPods have enough power or are discharged, because there is a possibility that one of the two earphones is low on power, so immediately check the battery charge on the earphone that is not working.
You can check this by placing it in the charging case, opening the cover of the case, and keeping it close to your iPhone or iPad. This will show you the battery percentage of your AirPods, or go to your AirPods' Bluetooth settings on your Apple device to check the battery.
The second thing that causes one of the two AirPods to malfunction, is that there is a problem with the Bluetooth feature, as Bluetooth problems are very common with AirPods, you just have to disable the Bluetooth feature on your device, wait for a minute or so, then turn on bluetooth. Connect the AirPods again to your iPhone or iPad. If the problem persists, go to the next step.
If your AirPods aren't clean, they won't work properly. Make sure to clean both AirPods because dust and dirt can build up on the speakers, sometimes causing them to clog. To achieve this, use a soft-bristled toothbrush or a damp cleaning wipe to gently clean your AirPods. Avoid using water as it may accidentally damage your AirPods.
First, open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap on Bluetooth.. You will see a list of all the Bluetooth devices that have been paired with your iPhone. AirPods will be on the list. Press the "i" button in a circle and then tap "Disconnect" and confirm it. Select Forget Device to proceed with the reset process.
Sometimes tweaking the stereo balance setting can cause this problem. Make sure the sound is balanced and not reduced to a minimum. Open Settings and choose Accessibility. You will notice the sound option and click on it. Look at the letters L and R. Keep them aligned in the middle for equal volume.
The last way to fix this problem is to connect AirPods to an Android smartphone or tablet. If the AirPods are working fine, the problem is likely with software that is preventing you from pairing one of the earbuds to your iPhone or iPad.
