Has Pegasus Spyware Infected Your iPhone?
Last July, a team of security researchers discovered evidence of a sophisticated spyware called Pegasus developed by the NSO Group that is being used to spy on the phones of journalists, politicians, activists and even heads of state around the world.
The investigation, in which more than 17 organizations and newspapers around the world participated, managed to discover more than 50,000 numbers on an iPhone that was spied on.
This is due to the ease of installing the spyware on the targets' iPhone or iPad devices remotely without the owner taking any action.
Once installed, the software gives the publisher of the software full access to the device and all data on it. This includes text messages, emails, and even recording phone calls.
