Apple announces a new iPad equipped with the A13 Bionic chip
Apple has just announced the latest version of its most popular tablet, the regular iPad. This new model is the ninth generation of the iPad that debuted in 2010, and features a new processor called the A13 Bionic.
The powerful A13 Bionic chip delivers more performance and capabilities in the most popular iPad, all while maintaining all-day battery life.
In addition, there is a new 12-megapixel front camera that supports the Center Stage feature that first appeared with last year's iPad Pro. This is so that users can enjoy more interactive video calls.
As users are on the move, Center Stage automatically pans the camera to keep them in view. And when others join in, the camera detects them, too, and seamlessly zooms out to include them in the conversation.
Center Stage makes video calls more natural in FaceTime as well as third-party video calling apps.
And the rest of the ninth-generation iPad looks very familiar to anyone who's seen an iPad in the past few years, complete with the same home button, bezels, and single rear camera.
The company says that the new processor is 20 percent faster than the processor in the previous model. This makes the new iPad up to three times faster than the best-selling Chromebook, with a whopping 6 times faster than the best-selling Android tablet.
The 10.2-inch screen is the same size and resolution as before, but now supports True Tone, which automatically adjusts the screen's color temperature based on ambient light.
True Tone technology makes images look more natural and provides users with a more comfortable viewing experience in all lighting environments.

Apple announces new iPad with A13 Bionic chip
The latest version of the iPad ships with iPadOS 15. It was announced earlier this year. It includes improvements across the iPad home screen, app organization, and multitasking features.
Moreover, the extra performance allows users to run advanced apps and games smoothly on the most affordable device.
The Neural Engine in A13 Bionic also powers next-level machine learning capabilities. Including Live Text coming in iPadOS 15. Which uses on-device intelligence to recognize text in an image that users can take an action on.
The iPad is what people are most drawn to, because it's the most economical model in the group. This year, the company increased the base storage capacity to 64GB and maintained a starting price of $329.
The device is also compatible with the first generation Apple Pencil and Apple Smart Keyboard. It is available in silver or space gray and can be ordered starting today, September 14, with delivery expected next week.
Moreover, the iPad starts with a storage capacity of 64GB – double the storage space of the previous generation – providing even more value to its users.
A 256GB option is also available for users looking to store more apps, games, photos and videos.
