Parliament specifies the period of opening the nomination door for the presidency and the conditions that must be met in the candidate

Baghdad today - Baghdad, the House of Representatives, today, Saturday, the period of opening the nomination door for the presidency and the conditions that must be met in the candidate. The General Secretariat of the House of Representatives said in a statement received (Baghdad Today) that "based on the law of nomination provisions for the position of President of the Republic No. (8) of 2012 And the approval of the House of Representatives to reopen the nomination door to take over the position of the President of the Republic in session No. (3) dated 5/March 2022, the House of Representatives announces the opening of the nomination door to take over the position, so those wishing to run for those who meet the conditions stipulated in Article (1) of The aforementioned law and referred to in the below to submit their written requests is accompanied by official documents that prove the availability of conditions in them with their CVs to the presidency of the House of Representatives and delivery during the official working hours to (the legal department in the House March 2022 for a period of three days.

1. To be an Iraqi by childbirth and from Iraqi parents. 2.To be the full and forty years of age. 3.To have a good reputation and political experience and is known for their integrity, integrity, justice and sincerity of the homeland. 4.His academic achievement is not less than the primary university degree recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq. 5.It is not governed by a crime against honor. 6.That he should not be covered by the provisions of the Accountability and Justice Law or any procedures that replace them.

The required official documents

1. A liberal request to the presidency of the House of Representatives for the desire to run to take over the position of President of the Republic. 3.A personal document proving that the desire to run Iraqi is born and that his parents are Iraqi by providing the identity of the civil status and the Iraqi nationality certificate for the candidate and his parents. 5.A detailed CV that includes the provision of the availability of the candidate on political experience. 6.A graduation document proving that the candidate obtains a university degree from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
