My name is Khalid bin Al -Walid Abdel Fattah Ahmed Hefni, Professor of Applied Materials and Physics at the Faculty of Science at the University of South Valley in Qena, and a major researcher at the Egyptian Center for Technology Nano at Cairo University .. I was born in the village Sisters, and the fate wanted to be polio .. When I grew up and reached the age of enrollment in the school, my father did not hesitate to join the school like me like the children of relatives and neighbors .. My father refused all this and stuck to joining the secondary school in response to my desire, because my ambition was greater than just getting a job .. Thanks to God Almighty, I joined the Department of Physics at the Faculty of Science and I was the first on my payment, where I graduated in 2000 and appointed a teaching assistant in the college in 2001.
He added: After that, I obtained a master’s degree in 2003 from the College of Science in Qena and appointed an assistant teacher, then the doctorate in 2006 and appointed a teacher at the college .. I also traveled several countries, whether in scientific missions or in conferences from them France, Germany, Italy, Indonesia and Tunisia visited all these countries on one individual, and besides that I am delegated to work in teaching nanotechnology in Sheikh Zayed since 2016 as I travel in many universities to discuss scientific theses of researchers without having any escorts.

What is your plan to develop the College of Science?
The development plan has several pillars, including the educational process, the research process, and community service. The educational process includes the quality of the teaching halls used and the development of the teaching methods followed, and we are in the process of preparing a new building for the College of Science that includes sections of plant science and zoology. From a research point of view, we have a plan to link academic research to the college to become applied research related to the industries in society in the southern valley, as this is expected from us to throw a stone in stagnant waters so that there is a real link between industry and scientific research .. and with regard to community service; The College of Science is able to provide community services and contribute to solving many problems, by marketing the capabilities and services of the college with the governorate and industrial entities, in addition to raising the efficiency of the administrative apparatus in the college and the trend towards digitization and digital transformation completely ..
