In 10 steps .. How to extract an electronic power of attorney through Egypt's digital portal
The Ministry of Justice seeks to implement a plan to raise the efficiency of the real estate and documentation sector and the various sectors and to automate their work, in line with the state's drive towards digitization, in coordination with the Ministry of Communications.
This plan comes within the framework of implementing the “Egypt Digital Justice” project, which the state is adopting, in implementation of the instructions of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to establish a unified technological judicial system. Contribute to facilitating litigation procedures and achieving prompt justice.
Among the services provided by the Real Estate Publication and Documentation Authority to the citizen, issuing a power of attorney electronically through the Egypt Digital Portal.
The benefit of this service requires several conditions: entering the national number of the second party, and that the national number card of both parties be valid, and that the citizen requesting the service be one of the first parties to the power of attorney, and that the second party be a lawyer or a relative up to the third degree, and keep the application number submitted through the portal, and the direction to the documentation office on the day specified for providing the service.
The process of benefiting from the service through the Digital Egypt Portal consists of 10 steps. The first is to enter through the Digital Egypt Portal website via the following link:

The second step comes by clicking on Authentication Services, while the third step is by clicking on Editing an official general power of attorney, and the fourth step is clicking on “Start Service”, and the information required to obtain the service is the data of the first and second parties and includes: national number, factory number , the address.
The fifth step includes entering personal data and the address in detail in the available fields and clicking on approval. Then the sixth step is when the data of the second party appears. If the second party is a lawyer, click on the "Lawyer" box.
The seventh step includes choosing the address of the preamble, and the eighth step is entering the data for receiving the power of attorney, by selecting the governorate and then choosing the nearest office.
The ninth step focuses on determining the appropriate date for receiving the power of attorney from the available fields and clicking on the “Next” window. As for the tenth step, the summary of the request is displayed, which is the cost of issuing an official general power of attorney, in order for you to review the required amount before payment.
The Ministry of Justice aimed to create an administrative work environment within the notary and notarization offices and raise the efficiency of the headquarters, as the administrative apparatus was developed to facilitate access to services, through training notaries technically and legally, and providing the needs of the notaries and documentation offices in terms of furniture necessary to receive and serve citizens. Extending working hours voluntarily and for a fee, rewarding distinguished workers, allowing notary public workers to benefit from the benefits of the health and social care fund for workers at the Ministry of Justice, as well as supporting the health and social services fund for notary public workers and their families.
