Google starts to launch the January 6 and 6 Pro phone
Arriving much earlier than Google's original “end of January” or early morning delivery time Next fix for Pixel 6 and 6 Pro is now starting to show up due to a long delay.
After the December OTA was halted when it launched in late 2021, Google has announced that the next Pixel 6 update will arrive a month later than usual. The reason for this “pause” — as well as the unprecedented removal of factory images — was the encounter with “some users.” for dropped or disconnected calls. The company also had to disable waiting and checking calls from the Phone app "in light of a bug in the December Android update."
The January security patch rolled out as usual at the start of the new year for all other Pixel phones, and now it's making its way to the 6 and 6 Pro:
Currently there is only one version per phone, this Jan 10 fix addresses Chromecast volume controls and issues.Beginning with Google Photos for manual install/upload, clicking "check for update" still doesn't work Enable OTA on the device. The date that the Canadian supplier is suggesting today could be when it will start happening.
