XBOX Series S mobile Xscreen portable screen!

The new Xbox consoles may not be truly portable, but that didn't stop the Australian company from making the Xbox Series S portable by attaching a direct-connect display

XScreen xScreen Funding During 20 minutes!

According to a report by VGC, the Australian video game accessories startup called UPspec announced the xScreen project for the Series S last month and is now launching a Kickstarter funding page for it. It didn't take more than 20 minutes for the funding goal, which was $10,000 initially, to be reached. To date, more than $79,000 has been raised by over 500 supporters.

A project like xScreen is desirable to add an external screen to the Xbox Series S without requiring any internal modifications. The matter removes the need to use an HDMI cable as well or an electrical cable, by connecting these sockets directly from the body of the screen and to the device itself. The foldable screen measures only 11.6 inches, but it provides a resolution of 1080p and a rate of 60Hz for display. Given the popularity of this Kickstarter project with backers, it seems to be enough to satisfy many Series S owners.

The xScreen connects to the device via clips that line it up to the side and insert the screen into the USB and HDMI sockets on the back. You can then plug the Series S into power and the xScreen will turn on automatically. There are small speakers as well and control for raising and lowering the volume, raising the screen capacity, and more options.

In order to get the xScreen, backers have to put down $219 and wait to get it by January next year. If you're quick, there are still some spots left for early backers, which offer a 20% discount to $196. Later, xScreen will be sold at full price of $250.
