Your online status appears in the control bar at the bottom of the screen, where you see a green tick next to your profile picture.

And in order to switch to the offline mode, all you need to do is go to your profile picture at the bottom of the screen and then click on it.

When the control menu appears on your personal page, you will be directed to choose the connection status, and by default you will find yourself connected to the network with an online appearance.
