Algeria rejects Macron's statements on the country's history

Today, Saturday, the Algerian presidency issued a statement, in which it confirmed its "categorical rejection" of what was stated in the statements of French President Emmanuel Macron, who is offensive to the history of the Algerian nation.

The Algerian presidency said that the summons of the Algerian ambassador in Paris for consultation came because of these statements that no official body was lying in France.

The statement continued: “Against the background of the unpopular statements to many French sources attributed to the French President, Algeria categorically rejects any interference in its internal affairs, which came in these statements.”.
